Excellent4.6★★★★☆ Based on 287 reviews from review us onJas GJas G ★★★★★ Nothing but great things to say about the Baker Septic team. We've used them for troubleshooting and septic inspections and the communication and service has always been top notch.Today we had Justin Wells come out and his level of knowledge and ability to explain things to us eased our concerns during a stressful time of dealing with issues with our septic tank.I really appreciate that they send you a text message reminder before the appointment, and another text message when a technician is on the way so you can plan your day accordinglyTheresa StanleyTheresa Stanley ★★★★★ Baker septic is the best! On time and very informative. The technician was very knowledgeable and took the time to teach us on how our system worked. Very friendly too!Michael HarwardMichael Harward ★★★★★ I just wanted to say. How professional this organization is. We had Dustin at our house and he did a great job. Was very informative and patient with us. Nobody wants to talk about septic tanks. Or inspections. But if you need stuff done , this is the group to call. Thank God Bless.John MosleyJohn Mosley ★★★★★ Baker Septic does fantastic work! I have a septic tank on my property and unfortunately I failed to clean out the filter in a timely manner. This created an issue with my system that I was not aware of until Baker Septic came out for my inspection. They advised me on what needed to be done and were able to tell me up front what my costs would be. I needed a new filter, septic tank pump and they advised me that my lifts had been installed incorrectly. They showed me exactly what the problems were with the lifts and explained the potential issues to me very well. I met several of their workers while they took care of these issues and every one of them were genuinely good people. Informative, helpful and very professional. I feel their prices were very fair and competitive and their service was absolutely 5 star exemplary work. I highly recommend them!Kelsey AndersonKelsey Anderson ★★★★★ These guys were beyond amazing with trying to help us. We called them for a second opinion after dealing with a very corporate company that didn’t provide much insight. Super personable and helpful during a stressful situation for us. I recommend them to the fullest.Peter OsvaldikPeter Osvaldik ★★★★★ Terry came out today and did excellent job! Very informative and helpful. Left job perfectly clean, took care of everything.Pleasure to deal with him and the company.Brandon StrongBrandon Strong ★★★★★ I had a septic issue that required immediate attention, called on a thursday, had an appt set up for the next day. I received a call from the technician Bill on his way earlier than I expected who I spoke to about possible causes and what I was seeing, super responsive and ready to tackle the problem. I met Bill on site who had already identified the problem, corrected it and tested it 4 times to ensure it was operating. He also mapped out the next steps so the issue would not repeat. Cannot say enough good things about Bill at Baker Septic. Hands down the guy I will call going forward. Bill, thank you for getting me all squared away before the weekend. It was a pleasure working with you and I truly thank you for being such a great professional. 10/10 experience. - BrandonJordan F.Jordan F. ★★★★★ Service technician Jake showed up and saved the day. He was very knowledgeable and had the situation under control in no time. Even took the time to answer all my questions and gave me some good maintenance tips to keep things running smoothly. Overall great experience.James GreenJames Green ★★★★★ Tyler came out this morning and pumped out our tank. He did an excellent job. He was very helpful and professional, and I was very happy with the service. I highly recommend Baker Septic and its employees. Thanks!Ashley LarsonAshley Larson ★★★★★ Baker was hired to do the septic inspection when my family purchased a property in September 2024. Everything was passed with a clean bill of health, which was a major factor in our purchase. Fast forward just 6 months and as we start the permit process to build on that septic system, a different company is telling us we have multiple loose pipes (not watertight) and erosion in the tank caused by a water trickle that should not be there.*UPDATE* Baker came out and spent an hour explaining what he was seeing and how he interprets it. We now feel that we have some options and some clear next steps. I really appreciate Jacob walking us through everything.Liam MLiam M ★★★★★ Mike is the man. He pumped out the tank super fast and he was awesome. Mike showed up same day, was super cool, was nice, worked really hard, and fixed my stuff quickly. Mike and Baker Septic 5 starsDonna EmoryDonna Emory ★★★★★ Aaron came out today to do our required septic inspection. Friendly, knowledgeable, and completely professional, he quickly took care of a couple of unexpected situations, then took a good deal of time afterward to answer questions and give us some reasonable action steps for the care of our system. Highly recommended...thanks, Aaron!Shannon CShannon C ★★★★★ I can't say enough about the great service I received from Baker Septic. From the woman who answered the phone, talked me off the ledge and scheduled same day emergency service to the friendly and knowledgable tech, Rob, who was able to quickly troubleshoot and fix the problem with my system. He arrived before the estimated time, was polite, informative and very patient with me and my inquiries. The invoice was less than I feared and I was left with suggestions without feeling like I was pressured to pay for services that were not immediately necessary. I will be using them for all future septic needs.Ayesha BrookshierAyesha Brookshier ★★★★★ Fern was fantastic and very good at his job! He was kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. When we encountered an unexpected problem with a broken septic tank lid he spent ample time answering my questions, going through all my options and helping me trouble-shoot ideas, while never feeling pressured. Couldn't be happier - would highly recommend!!Loren ParkerLoren Parker ★★★★★ Today, ace technician Fern came and repaired the baffling baffles in our septic system after doing the county-required inspection. He is very nice, very smart, and worked magic. Thank you, Fern, and thanks to Baker Septic, always my go-to guys in Whatcom County.Deryn MackDeryn Mack ★★★★★ Fern at Baker Septic was outstanding. We had an emergency pump out needed for our system due to a clogged outflow filter apparently. Within two hours of calling on a Saturday morning Fern came and pumped us out and was exceptionally good at helping us thru this "crappy" situation. We highly recommend him and Baker septic for your septic pumping and emergency septic needs.Jack WolfeJack Wolfe ★★★★★ ( Written on behalf of Teddy); Baker Septic sent Terry over to our place just a few hours after we left them a message, and he did an amazing job. He communicated better than any worker we’ve had on this property (we’ve had many this year, as we’ve just moved) and answered all of our questions and then some. On top of that, our tanks turned out to be full (and unexpectedly huge) but he handled it like a champ and got our previously-sewage-filling-house in a good enough place for plumbers to look at later this week. We will be going to Baker Septic for our future needs and requesting Terry whenever possible. He was so communicative, helpful, and downright competent. Thank you so much Baker Septic and Terry!Megan GebhardtMegan Gebhardt ★★★★★ Michael answered phone promptly on Sunday for a septic emergency and sent out Rob Stewart within a few hours to diagnose and solve the problem. Great team! Super knowledgeable. I now plan to use Baker Septic for all my septic needs.Kathy SettemKathy Settem ★★★★★ Rob was awesome! Communicated well throughout the process. Was able to pinpoint and fix the problem in one visit saving us some money. Very professional and came to our rescue within a day.Josh GellerJosh Geller ★★★★★ Francisco came out to do our annual inspection. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave me good info about how my system worked and how to maintain it. I would definitely recommend Baker Septic to anyone and ask for Francisco to do your job!Peggy ParkerPeggy Parker ★★★★★ All I can say is the company was faced with a few extra, unexpected hurdles -- all from my end -- and managed to clear them with ease. This was my first time ordering service and I had a chaotic morning that could have resulted in me not being able to meet the truck, but I called the office to see if they could nail down the arrival (they offer a four-hour window) so they contacted the driver and texted me right back. Once here, Aaron was that perfect combination of a professional -- he answered my questions quickly with extra relevant info -- who has a happy outlook on life.In other words, he was a pleasure to have here. He offered further information related to my earlier questions and took five minutes to answer questions about the drain field after the tank was pumped. He finished sooner that we expected. At the front end, the office gave me the range of prices, and Aaron elaborated on that once he saw my system.I am happy with the price and especially happy with the quality of work Aaron and the Baker Septic team did. I highly recommend them.George MaddenGeorge Madden ★★★★☆ One of Baker Septic’s employees, Francisco G. was able to accomplish what several other septic companies could not, locating a second tank where others had failed. He proved to be an exceptionally hard worker despite a condensed timeline. There seemed to be a disconnect between him and management, however. Despite an appointment specifically to clean the septic tanks, they sent him out to simply locate and inspect, hence the lost star.Nathan KrammeNathan Kramme ★★★★★ Francisco with Baker Septic really helped my family and I with a septic failure. Me not being the most familiar with septic systems not to mention the complexity of our situation, he provided superior service with knowledgeable advice on how to move forward that gave my family and I peace of mind knowing we would be taken care of.Diane MannDiane Mann ★★★★★ Thank you for sending Rob out! He had my drain cleared in no time at all. 😊 He was professional and very patient with me. I was his last appointment at the end of what was probably a very long day. Yet I was treated with the same care as the first appointment. What a great employee. Rob is why I will call Baker Septic again . 🙂Leslie AshLeslie Ash ★★★★★ Needed septic inspection. Francisco G. kept us informed on time he would arrive. Explained what he was doing and his findings so we understand more how the system works.Found a problem, explained what needed to be done to correct and options for cost containment. ( We had pumping scheduled but repair requires empty tanks so he recommended holding pumping until day of repair so we did not incur second pumping charge, having area dug out prior to repair crew arrival).Received call first thing the next morning from Michael, reviewing findings and to go over estimate. He cancelled pumping so we could review and schedule repair. In this day and age, finding companies with employees who treat their clients with such patience and honesty is priceless!Thank you so very much.Jessica McPhailJessica McPhail ★★★★★ Francisco is very personable, he greeted me and struck up a conversation. He was very pleasant to talk to and very efficient at his task… he informed me of the process and what he needed and left everything very clean for such a dirty job!!! lol. He even put down cardboard on the driveway where he knew the pump truck would drip oil!Much appreciated!!! Thank youDavid BoleyDavid Boley ★★★★★ We were lucky to have Fransisco visit our home when we had a septic tank issue. He arrived the same day we called and went above and beyond with creative problem solving to fix our issues. This is exactly the kind of skilled tradesman you want when you need real help, he was the opposite of just a nameless employee punching the clock. 5 stars all the way! Thank you Baker Septic Plumbing and thank you Fransisco!Doug CrossDoug Cross ★★★★★ Francisco was so friendly and knowledgeable! He explained how our septic system works and what he was doing at each step of the pumping/inspection process. He offered great tips on maintaining our system and his glove game was on point! I feel so much more confident with our system than before he came out. I wouldn't call anyone else for my future septic needs! Thank you!Danielle MDanielle M ★★★★★ Francisco came out on a Sunday when we had a septic emergency! This is our first experience living with a septic tank. We called Baker Septic and the friendly dispatcher sent him out. He was friendly, informative and very knowledgeable. We look forward to using their services for many years! Thank you for the learning experience:)Jonathan FayJonathan Fay ★★★★★ Francisco Gomez was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. He did a great and amazing job of taking care of everything in a super careful way went out of his way to make sure that the driveway and the route to the septic tank was kept clean and did an amazing job on the pump out and then advising me on septic care. I would highly recommend Francisco Gomez and Baker septic to pump your tank. The staff on the phone was very friendly and efficient. They got me scheduled quickly. I have used them in the past, and this type of experience is very typical of their high-quality service.Kathleen Tutu ma.Kathleen Tutu ma. ★★★★★ "This is the way!" This is the company you want to call! If Francisco Gomez could be cloned the world would be a better place. ☆ But for now Whatcom, Skagit & our Island Counties are lucky to be served by Baker for 40 years with fabulous service. Happy anniversary! 🎈On a personal note: our previous provider isn't licensed anymore so we asked a few of our neighbors who they used and the Google reviews for Baker were consistantly two thumbs up. What a bonus to meet Francisco, he's a real bar raiser! He pleasantly explained the filter system process, added a handle, recommended replacing the lids during the inspection and answered my questions about where I could plant flowers adjacent to the septic area. Francisco's support nailed our choice for future service. 🔆js_loader
